I used to say that my ambition was to know everything. I'm a geek, but I'm a geek about damn near everything, from the common to the obscure. I love learning stuff and can tell you obscure facts about the genetic diversity of chimpanzees, bits and pieces of quantum mechanics, the story of Sawney Beane. If it's weird, I like it. If it's obscure, I love it. If it makes you go "Who the hell knows THAT?", I adore it.

Yes, I'm weird. I'd like to do three things before I die:

1.) Use a 3-man slingshot to launch a block of sodium into a lake. (Bonus points if you know what that would do.)

2.) Find someone to work with to memorize both parts of Abbott and Costello's "Who's on first" routine, then go to a room full of drunk people and begin reciting it. Midway through, we'd switch roles.

3.) Live long enough to go to England in 2066 for the 1000th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings.

Also, I keep meaning to try an open mic night at a comedy club. One of these days I'll get around to it.

well first thing i am a single parent of a 4 year boy i guess i play the role
of mister mom. I recently moved out here to Washington state from California so the area is pretty new. I am originally from Los angeles.. It's a big change from living on the fast lane in the city from moving to the country side of Washington.

I am pretty easy person to talk to and to get along with. I always keep it real and by that I mean there is no need to lie or drama... I think I have gotten to the point of my life that I know what I want and the matured mentally to overcome most situations that most people can't at my age.

I would rather leave summary's to others whom know me better.

*sigh* I'll try my best to accurately describe my self, though. To begin, really, I am the sum of my life's experiences. So, I am always changing, there is no static concept of "me." In case you couldn't tell by the last statement, I enjoy philosophical discussions involving either worldly concerns, or spiritual discussions as well. I am more concerned with knowledge than physical prowess. I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling, as well as hiking, camping, and movies. I like to critique and analyze most things, including myself. I enjoy learning about other cultures, mythology, ancients and their knowledge / culture. I do not, however, like history on its own. Dates and facts do not lead to understanding. In a way, I prefer the sociological study of history. Above all else, though, I am a dreamer, and a thinker.

I recently have gone through some changes that have made me explore who I am and what I want to be.

I base my success in life off of my personal relatonships; not my career success or financial success. I love my job and I work hard at it, but that will never satisfy me.

I like to stay local for a night out and meet people in a more real setting. Not wearing scanty clothing and sweating profusely in a meat market. In a small group of friends I am more likely to be myself.

I am confident and jealous, fun, giggly, active or lazy, flirty, cautious, and sarcastic but positive!

At first glance I may be the quite sweet girl that stands just out of the spot light but if that is all you notice your missing the big picture. Though life is tough I have not lost my spirit or the knowledge that the sun will shine. I know how to celebrate the small gains and how to listen to what goes on around me. I strive to see the big picture and discover my own destiny but I don't forget to be swept away in the mystery. I'm a hard working barista who will one day change the world but today is happilly just changing even individuals spirit one warm drink at a time. I love my family and friends. I also love spending time re-reading a familiar book or re-watching a old movie under a warm blanket just as much as embarking on a new adventure.

Ok, how many times have you heard this before? "I am a fun-loving guy looking for a girl" That helps, huh?! Haha, well I'll try to expand on that. Ummm, I'm 21 years old but, depending on the situation, can act from an 8 year old to someone whose really mature (boring, right?). I am obsessed with sports, but I always make time for my friends. Buuuuut, on a dark and rainy Sunday in November, you're probly gonna find me lying in bed with junk food, watching football! I graduated from Skyline in 2006. My senior year, I decided to play football and ended up winning the 2005 State Championship. Right now, I am playing rugby for Seattle RFC. Despite all of the contact sports and occasional weekend laziness that I partake in, I am a pretty cool guy. I am really spontaneous and love to make people smile. If someone is having a bad day, all it takes is a call and I'm there to drag them away to cheer them up! I am a firm believer in spur-of-the-moment road trips, surprising someone at work, going to movies but not watching, and kissing someone regardless of who's watching. So yeah, I love to have fun and am looking for someone who can relate.
